Welcome to our official page for the Office of the Chief of the Indio Police Department (IPD). I am Chief Brian Tully, and it is my distinct honor to continue to serve the residents, businesses, and visitors of Indio since March 2024.
With more than 25 years in the field of law enforcement and public safety, I bring to this role a deep commitment to community-oriented policing, innovation, and collaborative leadership.
I hold both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration. I have also graduated from the FBI National Academy, California POST Command College, and the West Point Leadership Program.
My Vision & Commitment
In partnership with our community, our mission at IPD is to safeguard and improve the quality of life in Indio by deploying both traditional and innovative policing strategies that foster trust, support, and confidence.
