- Smart Policing
The Smart Policing Initiative (SPI) is a collaborative consortium composed of the Bureau of Justice Assistance, CNA, and sixteen local law enforcement agencies that are testing solutions to serious crime problems in their jurisdictions. In collaboration with Prof. Robert Nash Parker, co-director of the Presley Center at UC Riverside, the Indio Police Department will implement a place-based ("hotspot") strategy to address specific crime problems affecting the city. for more information click here
